Stanhope Gardens

Location:
Kensington London

1998
Client:
Dr Stanley Swee Han Quek

The block on the west side of Stanhope Gardens was redeveloped to make flats and mews houses with three levels of parking below.

The entire existing building was demolished except for two outer walls which had to be retained for heritage reasons.

Building over the circle line tube required sound absorption measures adding further complications to structural design.
